The Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA (AAWL & SPCA) – the largest and oldest no-kill shelter in Arizona – is seeking a Veterinary Technician Lead with strong interpersonal and effective leadership skills to help ensure our shelter/infirmary clinic is operating efficiently and effectively and to ensure we’re offering high quality of care for all the vulnerable animals under AAWL’s care. While the Veterinary Tech Lead won’t be directly supervising other employees, they will be handling personnel matters including monitoring the duties of 8 veterinary technicians to ensure they are fully aware of all office policies and practices and that they’re completing all tasks efficiently and effectively. In addition, the Vet Tech Lead will be responsible for mentoring and guiding less experience
