About the Opportunity

Performance Equine Vets is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Equine Surgeon to join our Emergency and Critical Care Hospital. This role places you at the heart of a mission-driven team committed to delivering life-saving interventions for Aiken’s elite performance horses.

You’ll work directly alongside Dr. Katie Gottleib, our lead surgeon spearheading this initiative, and with Dr. Stephanie Caston offering mentorship and advanced surgical insight. Our rapidly expanding facility is focused on high-impact, around-the-clock surgical care—where innovation, collaboration, and excellence meet to elevate the standard of equine medicine in the Southeast.

What We’re Looking For

• Board-certified or board-eligible Equine Surgeon (ACVS or ECVS)
  
  
• Demonstrated interest or background in emergency and critical care
  
  
• Team-first mindset, excellent communication skills, and passion for high-level equine care
  
  
• Open to recent graduates with strong surgical internships or seasoned professionals
