 Seasonal, FT summer employment for a veterinary student for a very unique clinical opportunity in the Knoxville area.&#xa0; East Tennessee Clinical Research (ETCR), near Rockwood, TN, is seeking a Veterinary Student to assist with the veterinary care and health maintenance of dogs, horses and cattle enrolled in pharmaceutical research studies.&#xa0; The incumbent delivers primary and preventive veterinary care under the supervision of the facility veterinarian(s), participates in clinical research studies, assists and trains technical and husbandry staff and ensures compliance with applicable Animal Welfare regulations. Clinical duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with physical examinations, collection of biological samples, treatment of naturally-occurring disease or injury in study animals*, and administration of investigational veterinary or control products.* The daily and weekly schedule is flexible, but some after-hour attendance will be required by study activities ( e.g. , timed sample collection).
