About the Position
Home with Dignity is seeking an experienced Relief Veterinarian to join our nationally celebrated mobile in-home euthanasia practice based in Columbus, OH. We specialize in providing pets and their families with a dignified end-of-life journey, bringing solace during their toughest times. You will have the opportunity to transform the way we care for our beloved furry family members during their most delicate moments and make a difference in the lives of pets and their families by providing a gentle and peaceful transition in the comfort of their own homes.
So, why practice medicine with Home with Dignity? In essence, it's all about immersing yourself in your passion: practicing medicine. At Home with Dignity, compassion, excellence, and innovation converge to craft a veterinary practice unlike any other. Here, you'll discover opportunities to achieve a harmonious work-life balance, fulfill the career aspirations you've always envisioned, and much more.
At Home with Dignity you will experience:
Day-to-Day: In this role, you'll provide compassionate euthanasia procedures for patients daily, traveling to clients' homes. After each appointment, transport the pets to a partnered local crematorium. Your main focus is on appointments and pet transportation, with dedicated Care Coordinators handling administrative tasks.
Work-Life Balance (but actually!): We keep the oldest promise in the book - your schedule revolves around your life and practice needs. You'll see up to a maximum of 5 appointments per day, no additional paperwork or client follow-up calls, just time to be with loved ones and reflect on the impactful lives you've touched that day.
Kind and Grateful Clients: Unlike hospital settings where clients may be scared or angry, our clients are in a stage of acceptance, treating our veterinarians with grace, appreciation, and kindness, reigniting their love for the profession.
