Job Title: SHELTER VETERINARIAN Reports to: EXECUTIVE DIRECTORScope of Position: To perform veterinary services for shelter animals. Maximize the use of clinic resources to ensure animal resident health at a minimum cost. To provide medical care as well as humane care and treatment to all animals in accordance with the policies and procedures established by Pet Animal Welfare Society of CT and the State laws of Connecticut. This is a part time, hourly position, typically 2 days per week to start, depending on the applicant’s schedule.Duties and Responsibilities:1. Work collaboratively with the ED, Medical Coordinator, Vet Tech, managers.2. Diagnose and treat medical conditions for all PAWS shelter animals
