I’d like to update our job posting as we haven’t sent a new one in recently.
At Animal Medical Clinic, a privately owned practice with deep roots in the community, we understand that the heart of exceptional veterinary care lies in building lasting relationships—not only with our patients and their families, but also with each other as a team. Our clinic has a long history of providing compassionate, high-quality care in a warm and welcoming environment, and we’re proud to say our team has been with us for the long haul. Our staff’s longevity is a testament to the supportive, collaborative atmosphere we foster every day. We believe in lifting each other up, sharing knowledge, and providing a work-life balance that allows our team to thrive both professionally and personally. Our hospital is fully digitized with paperless records, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, therapy laser, electrosurgery, endoscopy, digital microscope and a comprehensive in-house laboratory. When you join us, you’ll benefit from an exceptional compensation package that includes a salary starting at $150,000, 100% company-paid health and vision insurance premium, generous paid time off, a retirement savings plan with employer match, student loan repayment, signing bonus, relocation allowance (if applicable) and a continuing education allowance to support your growth as a veterinarian. No emergency or weekend hours. Four-day work week from 8-5. We are committed to providing our team with the resources and support they need to succeed, and we’re looking for a new team member who shares our passion for animal care and community values. If you’re ready to be a part of a family-oriented, close-knit practice where you can make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you! If this seems like a good fit for you, please send your resume to reid@animalmedicalclinic.us.
Animal Medical Clinic was established back in the 1940's and we continue to be a family-owned, three doctor practice that places an emphasis on progressive and compassionate care. We have been devoted to veterinary excellence for over seventy years serving the greater central Maine communities. Our entire staff is committed to a team environment in which everyone works as a cohesive unit, as we are a large veterinary family. We are proud of our competent, long term personnel, with several that have been here over twenty years. Our staff of seventeen treats roughly 6,000 patients per year.
