About Us: We are a full service specialty and referral hospital with an expansive ambulatory service based out of Northern California. We have several sister practices and satellite clinics throughout the state as well, each with their own distinct style and pace. Externs typically visit our main hospital in Penryn, but are welcome to schedule time at other locations as well. In addition to hosting externs year round, we have a Rotating Equine Internship, Non-Traditional Hybrid Internship, and an Emergency & Critical Care Residency program. We welcome externs interested in pursuing further training after graduation, as well as those interested in increasing their equine skillset en route to a mixed animal path.
