Live your dream in a small town in Florida only minutes from Gainesville or Ocala where most areas have no biting insects whatsoever and high enough and inland enough that hurricanes are not common or severe historically. Pleasant community with all the advantages of small town living but closer to UF time wise than many locations in Gainesville. Only 2 hours from Tampa, Orlando or Jacksonville.

Small animal with occasional goat/potbelly pig/ chicken/ rabbit. (We will accept dog and cat only vet). We take pride in mentoring new graduates and all remember well the stress of early practice. Competitive pay, flexible hours. If full time work a 4 day week and we will pay 160K fresh out of school with a good attitude and work ethic and more for someone with experience along with the good attitude and work ethic. We are in the process of building a new, more spacious and state of the art clinic that we should be in by year's end. 

This is a unique opportunity to LEARN in that we have a very diverse clientele and often get to treat cases in which the owner cannot afford referral. The options are either we treat or we euthanize and in so many cases we are able to save them. You will usually have a more experienced vet helping you with these cases if desired. All doctors consult regularly with one another and often with specialists on a daily basis. We take pride in offering practical quality veterinary medicine to our patients. We offer a variety of diagnostic and treatment options to each client and we are very unique in personally following up on each case - this is the best learning tool in the history of medicine and it bonds the doctor to the clients and patients; get the rewarding "thank you" that you deserve for your hard work and caring! We take pride in treating our patients as we would like to be treated!

We have most of the usual diagnostic and treatment tools - digital rads, chemistry analyzer, ultrasound machine, tonometry,  sevo, iso, etc. Our radiographs are reviewed with the doctor by a board certified veterinary radiologist every few weeks and we have monthly rounds to discuss and learn with the radiologist. This is a great service to our clients and a great learning tool for our doctors. We also have a very good relationship with a local veterinary ophthalmologist and often refer to the UF vet school, only minutes away.

We do believe in hard work during hours but offer lots of time off. Work to live, don’t live to work! Ours is a happy, family oriented workplace - come visit and see. I know it sounds cliche, but our vets, techs, receptionists and management are a team, we do enjoy practice and each other. No after hours emergency calls required. About Levy Animal Clinic

Levy Animal Clinic is a primarily small animal clinic in Williston Fl. It was founded in 1985 as a mixed practice and is still owned and managed by it's founder - Wade Bullock, DVM (UF 84). We are currently transitioning to all small animal and have openings for small animal associates. We are presently in the process of expanding our infrastructure by building a new, larger clinic at our present location and converting our older building into a doggie day care/boarding facility. We have a large and helpful staff and the normal array of diagnostic and treatment equipment, including sevoflurane anesthesia and digital radiography. We have a very diverse clientele and take pride in offering choices to our clients and tailoring our treatments based on the owner's needs and desires. We also are unique in that we personally follow up on each medical case. This is a great learning tool and helps us bond to our clients and patients. Williston is a bedroom community to Gainesville and Ocala, a friendly town that offers the advantages of living in the country with the very nearby conveniences of living in the city. We can get to Shands, Celebration Point or UF quicker than many people ...with Gainesville addresses! There is some agriculture in the surrounding area as well as numerous horse farms and some world famous sinkhole diving destinations. There are many retirees and many of the employed people work in Gainesville or Ocala. There is a mixture of historic families with many newcomers. This creates a situation where the clientele and area are a diverse mixture of socioeconomic classes, lifestyles, races and cultures and yet Williston has a happy, friendly culture where nearly everyone gets along with each other. A great place to live!
