We are looking for an Associate Vet who wants to help us grow. We are looking for the right candidate to take over our Medical Director position to allow our current MD fully retire. This position is supported by an experienced Hospital Administrator and department leads. When you are not fulfilling the MD roll, you will practice medicine by seeing well animal, sick animal, surgery, and dentistry. Long Drive Dog and Cat Hospital continues to grow and has the need for another DVM. Serving companion animals in the Southeast (Gulfgate) area of Houston, we are one of the original veterinary practices to the Metroplex. This area continues to change, is close to Hobby Airport (HOU), less than 1 hour to the Galveston beaches, 15 minutes to downtown Houston, 20 minutes to the Medical District, and within your daily commute of some incredible school districts. Our clientele are as diverse as our workforce; many clients will entertain you with stories of visiting us with their grandparents as small children. • Production-based starting at $110,000 for Associate DVM

We have been accepting wellness appointments since 01/2023 to help clients schedule their day. This gives us the ability to capture all well-pet visits and preventative diagnostics, as well as sick, injured, or urgent needs without the immense cost of a trip to an emergency clinic. The Hospital Established in the 1950’s, Long Drive Dog & Cat Hospital was one of the first practices in the Houston, Texas area. We have expanded since then from a humble 1.5-doctor clinic to a fast-paced, walk-in only hospital to now having five fantastic veterinarians. Although we see more patients than we did in the 50’s, our commitment has remained the same: our clients and their beloved, furry family members come first. We have a large surgery suite, expanded dentistry area, dedicated x-ray room, and a variety of in-house Idexx equipment with results imported to our Cornerstone soft...ware with EMR. Digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound help us provide the highest quality of care. Our spacious boarding facility with indoor runs, cages, and grooming room make up the rest of our facility.
