Come join us at a progressive livestock ambulatory practice out of Roanoke, Va.

With Wellfarm Vets you will get experience in building a practice, acquiring new clients, and of course, clinical skills in farm animal medicine. Wellfarm Vets is a non-traditional practice model that provides telehealth consultations as well as herd health plans. Yes, we will spend time in the truck, but you will also be working on individualized herd health plans for clients based on their species and production types. There will also be opportunities to engage with the local food community and promote our southwest Virginia producers. 

Preferred external students will have a focus area in production animal medicine or tracking public health with a special interest in food security and population health. Preference will be given to students in their clinical year.
