Four Paws Animal Clinic is a fast-paced, growing, 6-doctor, small animal, general vet practice in Columbia, SC. We offer personalized, patient-centered, progressive medicine, surgery, dentistry, rehabilitation, and nutrition in our 4800sf stand-alone building.
The perfect candidate will be friendly and outgoing, interested in client education, keep appropriate medical records, seek educational opportunities, and be open to learning from and sharing with his or her colleagues. He or she must work well with management, staff, and clients and practice exemplary, high-quality medicine and surgery.

Working schedule is 4 days/week 8 AM-6 PM with a lunch break, and one out of 4 Saturdays.
No boarding or grooming services are offered, so no Sundays or holidays! We are closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
We have two emergency/specialty clinics in town with surgery, cardiology, neurology, dermatology, oncology, ophthalmology, and internal medicine specialists.
Columbia is in the center of the state, 1.5 hours from the beach and 1.5 hours from the mountains. Our city, the capital, has many museums, historic sites, parks/hiking trails, restaurants, nightclubs, rivers and lakes, and award-winning public and private schools. Lake Murray is a 20-minute trip away and Lake Wateree is approximately 45 minutes. Both offer excellent boating and fishing opportunities. A University town, Columbia has a multitude of food/wine/beer festivals, concerts, organized runs, charitable parties/auctions, and sports including USC baseball, soccer, and football, and our own minor league baseball team, the Columbia Fireflies.
