The Richmond SPCA, an invaluable non-profit organization working to prevent animal homelessness, is seeking Veterinary Doctors to join their skilled, caring team as Associate Veterinarians at the Susan M. Markel Veterinary Hospital.
If you have a degree in veterinary medicine, a current state of Virginia license to practice veterinary medicine, and a current DEA license, they want to hear from you!

Weekday, daytime schedule! You will work four 10-hour shifts a week. Enjoy three days off every week!
A day in the life:
Performance of spay/neuter surgeries, dentals, and other routine surgeries
Delivery of wellness care and annual physical examinations
Performance and interpretation of routine diagnostic tests, including radiography
Delivery of care for sick or injured hospital patients as needed
Development of ongoing treatment plans for acutely and chronically ill patients
Clear communication and the ability to educate a varied client base
Examination and treatment of shelter animals as needed
Other job-related duties as assigned
Attend and participate in all required trainings and meetings
