Kern Road Veterinary Clinic in Fowlerville, Michigan is looking for TWO additional equine general practitioners for their ever-growing hospital. New grads and experienced candidates are all welcome to apply - internship experience is not required. KRVC currently has eight veterinarians - 3 of which practice small animal and 5 who practice equine medicine. Opportunities exist to practice some small animal medicine in addition to equine if that is an interest for you. KRVC just celebrated its 50th anniversary this past year; in addition, five of our veterinarians have been with the practice for their entire careers ranging from 4 years to 24 years thus far. We provide equine ambulatory services for a large portion of Southeast Michigan, including emergency care. KRVC also has a beautiful equine haul-in facility with a surgical suite and six stalls.
We have many fun toys such as endoscopy - respiratory and gastric, two D/R units, multiple power dental units (terafloat, versa float, swiss float), multiple ultrasound machines, ProStride, advanced dental tools, cryotherapy, acupuncture tools and herbal medicine, and more! We are always happy to help foster our veterinarians' individual interests to better both KRVC and themselves.
Fowlerville is a rural community located in Southeast Michigan with abundant opportunities to engage in outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, swimming, boating, and horseback riding. City adventures are not that far away either, with Lansing and East Lansing 30 minutes west, Ann Arbor 45 minutes southeast, and Detroit 90 minutes to the east. Most doctors live within approximately 25 minutes of the clinic.
Must be a licensed DVM (or have the ability to become licensed) in the state of Michigan.
Blue River PetCare's mission is to provide a long-term home for local practices that selling owners have worked so hard to build. We are dedicated to retaining the culture of each of our hospitals in addition to the local practice of medicine. We do this by ensuring each hospital has complete medical autonomy with their choice of protocols, therapies, inventory items, vendors and even management software. We also focus on our employees’ health and well-being as much as we do the pets we treat. We would love to hear from you!
