Oakbrook Veterinary Clinic is a family-owned small animal veterinary clinic that has been serving Summerville and the surrounding areas for over 30 years.

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, leadership, and management skills, as well as a passion for animal welfare. The Veterinary Practice Manager will work closely with our veterinarians and support staff to ensure the clinic provides high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the veterinary clinic
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the clinic operates efficiently and effectively
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Monitor and manage clinic finances, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting
• Hire, train, and supervise support staff, including veterinary technicians, receptionists, and administrative staff
• Schedule and coordinate veterinary appointments, surgeries, and procedures
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and referral sources
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
• Ensure patient records are accurate and up-to-date
• Ensure the clinic maintains a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Veterinary Science or related field preferred
• 5 years of experience in a veterinary practice management role
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with veterinary practice management software and electronic medical records systems
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
