Bayshore Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal practice with 2 locations, Ormond Beach and Port Orange Florida. We currently have positions open for a full or part-time Associate Veterinarian at both our Ormond Beach location and our Port Orange location.

Both locations offer a capable and caring staff, full surgical suite, full dental care, laboratory, hospitalization abilities including oxygen, digital radiography, fully integrated and connected Avimark medical software, digital EKG.  We work well with multiple local referral hospitals if the need arises for any oncological, surgical and internal medical needs patients.  Computed tomography is available on site as well as  the ability to schedule in clinic echocardiography by a Board Certified Cardiologist.  We are currently expanding our ultrasound abilities and equipment.

Bayshore Animal Hospital – Ormond Beach is nearly 5 years old and is maintaining steady growth currently, with room for even more growth. We are an appointment only, fully staffed, patient-focused, client-oriented team that values current practices and old-fashioned service.  No emergency or weekend hours, all emergencies are referred to a local ER.  

Bayshore Animal Hospital – Port Orange is an established, appointment only, fully staffed hospital that been serving Port Orange since 1982.  This location has long been a trusted fixture for the pet owners nearby and aims to maintain a traditional, approachable veterinary establishment.  It is a fast paced and fun environment that humbly works to meet the needs of our community.  This position is ideal for both well-experienced individuals or those who wish to have mentoring and sharing of ideas about client service and patient needs.  No emergency or weekend hours, all emergencies are referred to a local ER. 

Minimum qualifications for our Ormond Beach position include:  General practice, moderate level internal medicine, routine soft tissue surgery, general dentistry, able to perform in solo-doctor environment, steady and content personality that is willing to be both a team member and leader.  More advanced surgeries can be offered at out Port Orange location or consultation can be made  available.  Licensed in the state of Florida, USDA accredited, competent in English language.

Minimum qualifications for our Port Orange position include:  Experienced professionals and new graduates welcome!!!  Willingness to perform or learn general companion animal practice; mentorship for internal medicine, general dentistry, and surgery are provided; a steady and content personality that is willing to be both a team member and leader, licensed in the state of Florida, USDA accredited is optional, competent in English language.
