Associate Veterinarian

We take a team approach to veterinary medicine and offer flexible doctor scheduling options, while maintaining at least a 2:1 Tech / Veterinarian ratio. We are Feline Friendly and uphold a Fear Free environment for our patients and support training for all our Team members too. We believe in building relationships with our clients to improve our ability to provide the best care possible for our patients. Essential Responsibilities & Functions

• Dedication to providing patients with a high level of veterinary care while utilizing the latest advances in diagnostics.
• A client service mindset with the ability to build relationships and exceed expectations. 
• Enthusiasm about building relationships and partnerships with the local community.
• The ability to champion the practice’s objectives and values and inspire others.
• Follow the established policies and procedures that govern the normal operation of the hospital.
• Dedication to efficiently manager caseloads and maintain accurate records using SOAP templates for treatment plans and recommendations.
• Promote a collaborative working environment and encourage the value of teamwork.
• Prioritize traumatic injuries and serious illnesses to ensure that all animals receive time-sensitive care.
• Educate clients on the importance of vaccinations, heartworm treatments, flea and tick treatments and other aspects of preventive care.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• State Veterinary Board License in good standing.
