Pinellas Animal Hospital was established in 1973 by Dr Ernest Godfrey.  We are a busy AAHA Accredited, 7 doctor, small animal practice, located in Pinellas Park, near St Petersburg, Florida.  Our central focus is on high end customer service, while providing top quality preventative care, dentistry, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.  Experienced DVM’s and new graduates are encouraged to apply. 

We are looking for a full time Associate Veterinarian; at least 2 years veterinary practice experience is preferred, but not necessary (mentorship will be provided), along with the ability to work well within a team possessing strengths in the following areas:

1. A focus on effective client communication, with a genuine interest in small animals, up to and including birds and/or limited exotics (although not necessary).
2. The ability to embrace paperless technology and to apply it effectively in Cornerstone or the ability to quickly familiarize and absorb its function.
3. Ultrasound, Digital radiology, digital dental radiology.
4. Use of complete in-house Idexx lab machines.
5. Medical practice and diagnostics must be reflective of high-quality medicine.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to perform efficient, thorough work ups.  Avian/exotic animal experience is a plus but is not required.

To enable you to focus solely on your cases you will be supported by 30 highly skilled support team members with full protocol familiarity. In house diagnostic services include Digital DR radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, and a full in-house laboratory.
