Community Animal Care is a busy, progressive five-plus doctor small animal practice in Poughkeepsie, NY. Community Animal Care is dedicated to providing patients with quality medical, surgical, and emergency care while upholding good client service. We approach our day in a team-oriented fashion where doctors and staff support each other. We focus on high ethical standards in a respectful work environment and a goal to continually grow and improve in knowledge and skill. 

We are looking for a doctor to join our team as we continue to grow.  The candidate should possess good medical and surgical skills, a desire to grow and learn, great interpersonal skills, and a willingness to work on a team. Although experience is preferred, we are willing to mentor the right new graduate.

Community Animal Care is located in the Hudson Valley, a beautiful suburban area halfway between NYC and Albany, NY.  The area provides numerous outdoor activities in parks, on the Hudson River, and Rail Trail.  Skiing is easily accessible. The practice provides benefits that include medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, paid vacation, holidays, and a sign-on bonus. There is no on-call responsibility.  Our goal is a good work-life balance. 

Must be a licensed DVM or equivalent in the State of New York.
