We pride ourselves in our ability to provide exceptional surgical and diagnostic services to our clients. Some of the things we have to offer:

• Ultrasound: All doctors use daily and we support ultrasound training and development
• Laparoscopy: Laparoscopic spays are our standard of care, and all of our doctors are proficient in the procedure. We also perform laparoscopic procedures such as fully intracorporeal gastropexies, liver biopsies, and more. 
• Surgical laser is used for stenotic nares, soft palate resection as well as other numerous applications.
• Endoscopy, Rhinoscopy and Cystoscopy are valuable diagnostic tools that we are proud to be able to offer to our clients. 
• Acupuncture, PRP, Therapeutic laser are available as additional treatment modalities.
• We have 30 minute appointment slots and no walk-in’s which enables the appropriate time for each of our clients/patients. 

I started Pikesville Animal Hospital 15 years ago, in part, so I could have the freedom to always work towards trying to do things better than when I started in this profession.  I always want to look at the way we are practicing and delivering care and try to do things better. Continuous growth and development are fundamental to who we are.

The hospital is 6,000 square feet that was recently built out with workflow in mind. 

• We have 6 exam rooms including a room solely used for our feline patients. 
• Our large surgical suite and two wet tables allow for smooth flow of procedures
• Ultrasound has its own dedicated room which enables good diagnostic-quality ultrasounds, ultrasound-guided procedures, and echocardiography. 
• Full in-house lab and pharmacy. 
• Acupuncture, therapy laser and PRP also have a dedicated room.

Our support staff is everything to us!  We have 7 RVTs (and growing), several very well-trained technicians and technician assistants and a great front desk staff. We create a drama-free culture of team support. We encourage ALL of our staff to engage in continuing education.
