Crawfordsville Family Vet in Crawfordsville, Indiana, is looking for a full or part-time associate veterinarian. We have just moved into our brand new AAHA-style hospital this year, with all new technology (paperless, cloud-based practice management software, tablets), new equipment (upgraded dental x-ray, new IDEXX laboratory machines, digital x-ray, cold laser, ultrasound, surgical laser etc), and aesthetic design, all designed to capture a younger, tech-enabled and family-centric audience. Our Chief of Staff is here 4-4.5 days per week and loves mentoring other doctors! Her special interests are in surgery and dentistry. We also do a lot of work with the local Animal Welfare League, and doctors who have an interest in working with a non-profit do have some opportunities within the practice if they would like.
Our group has a young leadership team, led by doctors who support innovation and modern technology, but are maintaining family-owned local flavor with a large emphasis on community involvement. We have significant resources and commitment to forward-thinking tools, technology, and equipment, and encourage suggestions from our employees on how to continue to make improvements. Our goal is to have an industry-leading employee experience in addition to our comprehensive benefits package.
The primary responsibilities of the associate veterinarian are to practice high-quality veterinary care, provide excellent customer service to our clients, and a dedication to continuing education and development. Our Chief of Staff is available for mentorship, and you will likely work with her 3-4 days per week.
One of the ways we strive to improve the lives of veterinarians is by providing you with comprehensive benefits:
Generous compensation package
Flexible schedules
No emergency or on-call hours
Career path opportunities
Generous paid time off
Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
401(k) or Roth 401(k) with company match
Unlimited CE Allowance
AVMA dues
Job Requirements
DVM or equivalent from an accredited university
Indiana license in good standing or eligible for licensure in Indiana
