Sandbank Veterinary Hospital is a small animal practice located 30 minutes south of Hartford, CT. We are seeking a full-or-part time DVM to round out our 2 1/2 doctor team. We are looking forward to sharing our knowledge of general practice with a new graduate or seasoned veterinarian.

In addition to digital radiographs and dental radiography, we also have access to a boarded radiologist ,surgeon and internist. We are open during the week from 8 am to 6 pm. 

Our new veterinarian would ideally have a four-day work week. The ideal candidate would also be friendly, compassionate, and motivated to care for pets and people.  Good communication skills are important and surgical skills are a plus, but freedom to pursue your niche in veterinary medicine is encouraged. New graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered.

Applicant must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Connecticut or eligible to obtain the license.

Sandbank Veterinary Hospital was established in 2006. It started as a single doctor practice and has grown into a 2 1/2 doctor practice and continues to grow. The hospital is a well staffed and well equipped with digital radiology, digital dental radiology, and state of the art Heska in house laboratory equipment.
