Teton Equine is an exclusively equine, exclusively mobile veterinary practice based in Idaho Falls, serving the beautiful Teton Valley and surrounding areas.  We are looking for a student who is passionate and articulate about horses and looking to learn and gain experience in the field of equine veterinary practice. If you love the outdoors, Eastern Idaho, Western Montana and Wyoming are amazing places to live and work!

• Seeking a student passionate about horses and eager to gain experience in a mobile veterinary practice
• Typical day at Teton Equine involves riding in an advanced diagnostics mobile clinic on ranch calls, 8am- 6pm 4-5 days per week
• Specializing in lameness and sports medicine, but also covering reproduction, dentistry, and emergency work
• Requires a high level of passion, empathy, and discipline, but provides the privilege of helping horses and their owners every day
• RV on site available for use during the externship, with weekends and nights off to explore the amazing area
• Looking for a team player who is outgoing, responsible, reliable, and presents warmly and professionally to clients
• Goal of externship program: to add associate veterinarian to the team in the future
