Look no further than Maryland Mobile Veterinary Clinic! Don’t let name fool you – we have a bustling brick & mortar practice in addition to two mobile units, so you can have the best of both worlds. Enjoy the personal interactions and relaxed setting of a house call practice from one of our mobile clinics, AND have the ability to work up medical cases, treat hospitalized patients, and flaunt your surgical and dental skills in our brick and mortar facility.
We are a privately owned hybrid practice with corporate caliber compensation where quality of life is not just a catch phrase. (And that is a direct quote from our amazing associate vet!)
We are seeking a third veterinarian who thrives on both people and animal interactions and wants to maintain strong surgical and dental skills. An ideal candidate is confident yet personable; relaxed while motivated; a team player who is also able to work independently; and has a desire to be a part of a community that takes care of each other – in our workplace, with our clients and their pets, and in the broader community.
Our facility is small, but has the usual bells and whistles (digital radiology, laser therapy, access to specialty referrals, etc) but what is more important is the amazing team that will help you put all of that equipment & your skills to good use - practicing high quality medicine while interacting with clients to best determine the needs of their pets.
The practice is located in a small town surrounded by rolling hills and wide open spaces (our house calls are focused in beautiful Carroll County!) yet close enough to the Baltimore and Washington metropolitan areas to take advantage of cultural and sporting events. There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, including the nearby Catoctin Mountain and Gettysburg Park systems.
Important information! No on-call; open to flexible work schedule; competitive compensation package with signing bonus and paid moving expenses.
1) DVM degree, along with Maryland state license
2) Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, and a sense of humor is appreciated!
3) Prefer 2 years experience, but open to new graduates
4) Proficient in the use of standard office equipment and computer-based software solutions typical of a veterinarian practice
Maryland Mobile Veterinary Clinic is a hybrid practice based in Carroll County, Maryland. We currently have 2 mobile units and opened a brick & mortar facility in March 2016 to better serve our clients with a location to perform surgical and dental procedures and radiographs. We strive to provide incredible client service in a friendly "home town" atmosphere while providing veterinary care that matches each clients' goal.
