Lexington Equine Medical Group is looking to add full-time associates to our nine-doctor, all-ambulatory team. The ideal candidate has integrity, skills, curiosity, and a sincere desire to contribute new ideas to our practice. We highly prize communication skills, initiative and a sense of humor. We value continuing education for our doctors and encourage a healthy work-life balance (four-day work weeks and one on-call weekend a month are our norm!).
Lexington Equine Medical Group specializes in internal medicine, reproduction and foal care, wellness and preventative medicine, sport horse medicine, sales services, and equine import and export. While experience is preferred, new graduates are encouraged to apply. Our goal is to find a likeminded veterinarian who want to do his or her best work and truly enjoy themself while doing it. Applicants must have a DVM or VMD with an ability to have and maintain a Kentucky Veterinary license, driver’s license, and DEA license. Additional expertise such as acupuncture and chiropractic are a plus!

Established in 2018, Lexington Equine Medical Group is an ambulatory veterinary practice built on the experience and expertise of nine full-time veterinarians, who have nearly 100 years of experience among them. LEMG practitioners and staff work collaboratively with horse owners and trainers to provide the highest level of veterinary care to diverse clientele.
The LEMG team specializes in internal medicine, reproduction and foal care, wellness and preventative care, sport horse medicine, sales services, and equine import and export. With full digital radiography and ultrasound capabilities, LEMG practitioners care for a variety of horses in the Bluegrass, including mares and foals, Thoroughbred and Standardbred racehorses, polo ponies, sport horses in a variety of disciplines, gaited horses, pleasure horses, retirees and more.
