Are you looking to be a part of a veterinary team dedicated to Fear Free patient care, compassion, and community service? Want to work for an organization that values employees as its top asset? Wish you worked in a hospital with 30 minute appointments and a daily caseload that allows for meaningful relationships with clients and patients? Looking for a job that respects the balance between your work and home life, and that celebrates and supports your emotional and physical well-being? Are you an outdoor enthusiast that would love easy access to the mountains, rivers and ocean on your days off? If you answered yes to these questions, we may have exactly what you’re looking for:
The Fairhaven Veterinary Hospital, a Fear Free Certified Practice since 2018, is located in Bellingham, WA, voted one of the most livable small cities in the United States by Outdoor Magazine. Bellingham is located along the salt waters of Puget Sound within easy reach of Vancouver, B.C., Seattle, Mount Baker and Whistler ski resorts, the San Juan Islands and 3 National Parks. Our community is home to Western Washington University, bringing vibrant arts and culture to the downtown area.
We seek a part-time Associate DVM to join our team of 6 Doctors in a small animal hospital equipped with ultrasound, digital radiology, in house diagnostics, and iM3 dentistry equipment. All Doctors are supported by a well-trained and educated team of Licensed Veterinary Nurses, Veterinary Assistants and Customer Service Reps. Our hospital has a culture where the staff enjoy coming to work, and clients know we truly respect the bond they have with their pets. Openings for employment at our hospital are rare as we have a carefully curated culture, and are incredible thoughtful about the staff we choose to be a part of our team.
