Why Oak Valley Animal Health?
Oak Valley Animal Health is located in the heart of Southwest Iowa. We currently have two locations, Red Oak & Villisca, IA, but a third is on our radar! Both locations are in Montgomery County, just an about hour from Omaha, NE, and around two hours from Des Moines, IA. Red Oak’s amenities include: a YMCA, newly renovated city pool, bowling alley, Wilson Performing Arts Center, historic WW2 museum, Red Oak Country Club, variety of service organizations (Rotary, Kiwanis, Optimists, Elks, Eagles, etc.), seasonal Farmer’s Market, Red Oak Grand Theatre (featuring 2 screens and only $2/ticket!), opportunities for outdoor recreation within the county (hunting, fishing, camping), and so much more!
Oak Valley Animal Health’s goal is to provide our clients with the knowledge and understanding necessary so they can make the best decisions for the health and well-being of their pets, as well as ensuring our livestock producers have the best health management systems to provide premium quality for the consumer.
For our team members, our mission is to maintain a positive work environment where we encourage professional growth, celebrate personal goals, and foster a healthy work-life balance.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced DVM who is confident in a mixed animal practice that performs soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and general medicine, to name a few. You must also be physically able and comfortable to be working with and around livestock and other large animal situations, including equine. We do not work on exotics. You must be an excellent communicator who enjoys corroborative medicine and teamwork. This position offers well established clientele, exceptional benefits, competitive salary, and best of all…a family friendly work environment with a team of dedicated individuals. We are proud to be privately owned!
Potential for ownership opportunities!
