Bahama Road Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time (or possibly part-time) veterinarian to join our practice in August 2022.  We are a busy, seven doctor practice 20 minutes north of downtown Durham, NC.  This position recently became available due to an associate relocating to be closer to family.

No weekends!  Our business hours are Monday through Friday.  No after-hours or on-call duties.  When we leave at the end of the day, we are done!   Work/Life balance is very important to us.

We always have an interesting caseload, and we support and consult with each other every day.  We have full in-house hematology and clinical chemistry, as well as reference lab pick-up, digital radiography, ultrasound, a large surgery suite, and a large dental suite with dental radiography.   There is regular opportunity for emergency surgeries, oftentimes assisting (or being assisted by) the other doctors.   We have a mobile, Board-Certified Surgeon come to the practice 3-4 times per month, as well as a Board-Certified Cardiologist doing in-house consults regularly.   There are also multiple referral practices in the Triangle area that we refer to as needed.
