Peaks View Animal Hospital in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Veterinarian to join our team 

Peaks View Animal Hospital is a busy, eight doctor practice located in Lynchburg, VA. We are currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. We are looking for this DVM to work in general practice and ideally have an interest and/or experience in surgery(ability to perform a wide range of procedures soft tissue, dentistry, orthopedics *Mentorship available).  This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and highly reputable AAHA hospital.  A strong interest in rehabilitation and/or acupuncture is preferred.  Any experience level will be considered, 2 plus years of experience is preferred.

The majority of our patients are companion animals.  Our 8 doctors on staff have special interests in areas such as orthopedic surgery, reproductive medicine, rehabilitative medicine, behavioral issues, and dentistry.  We believe in the delivery of up-to-date services to our patients in the most compassionate and humane manner possible and emphasize a caring and sensitive attitude toward our clients.  We are located in the beautiful, rolling hills of central Virginia, only a short drive to lakes and mountains.

• Advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries
• Surgery suite with two surgery tables
• Dentistry suite with 2 dental tables
• The treatment area contains three stations, one with a wet sink and anesthesia
• Digital radiography and digital dental radiography
• Ultrasound

• Robust Rehab program: underwater treadmill, acupuncture, therapeutic laser therapy, therapeutic ultrasound therapy, and therapeutic exercises. In addition, we have an in-house Companion regenerative medicine system to provide PRP and BMAC (stem cells). In 2018 we added a 5-18 MHz, 38mm Linear Ultrasound Probe (L64) to perform diagnostic musculoskeletal exams

Central Virginia residents enjoy a relatively modest cost of living compared to surrounding cities.  We are home to two liberal arts colleges, a university, and a growing community college.  Golf and water sports in the summer and skiing in the winter are a convenient drive.
