Companion Animal Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are an established, privately owned, full-service small animal hospital committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients and excellent customer service to our clients. The successful applicant must be a team player, a fast learner, flexible, able to multi-task effectively, and have excellent written, phone, and interpersonal communication skills. Duties include but are not limited to: patient care, anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep and assisting, drawing blood, in-house laboratory, in-house digital radiography, and communication with clients both on the phone and in person.  

Looking for a technician to work full time hours (4 day workweek, currently trying to fill Tue-Fri schedule).  Schedule will be set and you will be working the same days each week.  Also open to part-time candidates and will discuss specific hours during the interview process.

We are open 7 days a week from 8:30am-5:30pm (no emergency), and closed on major holidays so staff can always plan to have those days off. Following a 90 day introductory period, full-time employees are eligible for benefits which include paid vacation/sick/holiday days, health insurance, employer sponsored retirement savings, uniform allowance, paid continuing education, and discounted veterinary services for employee pets. Part-time employees are eligible for discounted veterinary services for employee pets.  Potential for Signing Bonus depending on experience.  

Looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician but will consider applicants with experience but without certification. Recent graduates (or almost-grads) who have not yet taken their Certification exam but are eligible for Certification are welcome and encouraged to apply!
