Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital is a full-service animal hospital providing comprehensive pet healthcare in the Stadium District of Tacoma’s North End. We are a three-doctor practice seeking another talented veterinarian with a passion for preventative care to join our team. At Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital, we pride ourselves on providing the best care by offering a wide variety of medical, surgical, and dental services using progressive, modern medicine and innovative technology. We offer a modern, spacious working area, a large treatment area, an in-house laboratory, a fully stocked pharmacy,  digital radiography, and ultrasound. 

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary school
• Active, non-restricted veterinary license in Washington
• Invested in building trusting relationships with clients, colleagues, and community
• Motivated for continuous personal and professional growth
• Team player, go getter, willing to jump-in when needed
• Positive attitude and the desire to learn
• Comfort or desire to grow in the surgery suite (soft tissue, dental extractions, spay/neuter, etc.)
• Mindset and drive to grow skill set and ability and the desire to mentor and train staff to keep them growing and excelling
• Feel accountable to our clients, patients and team
