…our profile might sound something like this:  “Self-motivated, kind-hearted, 70% goofy 30% quirky, very appreciative of a good work/life balance, and most importantly empathetic to our patients, clients, and wonderful staff/family”.  And no, we wouldn’t be shirtless or holding a fish in our main profile pic ;)  We would instead have a photo of us mountain biking, nerding out to a good video game, and/or playing guitar on stage.

If you couldn’t tell from our silly introduction above, Fox Hollow is a fun and fulfilling place to work.  We are a 7 doctor practice that has been serving our wonderful community for over 25 years.  We’re located in the foothills of the Rockies.  Hiking and biking trails are literally located directly out our front door.  We’re 15 minutes from the vibrant and artistic city of Denver and 10 minutes from the eclectic and adventurous city of Golden.

You would be working three days a week and a couple Saturdays per month.  No emergency or after-hour shifts.  Your schedule will also have a minimum of 2 days off in a row.  Allowing you to experience all that our area has to offer.

Fox Hollow’s number one goal beyond providing top-notch patient care is to make sure everyone loves their job.  Our certified vet-tech to doctor ratio is above industry standard.  Turn-over has been minimal during the pandemic and we are very proud that numerous vet-techs have been here for over 5 years!  This is in part due to our layered management structure (the owners, practice manager, assistant manager, and a lead vet-tech manager) handling the day-to-day mundanes of business.  And lastly, beyond buying breakfast burritos (say that three times fast!) and lunches a couple times a week - we offer a pseudo-profit-share program to our vet-techs to keep them happy when they are hustling.

Our Facilities

We have access to weekly in-house specialists in radiology, internal medicine, orthopedic, and soft-tissue surgery and can refer to nearby specialists in other fields as well (neurology, cardiology, ophthalmology).  Critical cases are usually transferred to nearby 24-hour hospitals.  Our facilities have the following on-site:

• High-end new Ultrasound

• Digital dental radiology

• Digital radiology

• Surgical CO2 laser

• Idexx lab diagnostics

• Cloud-based EzyVet software is on the way!

Down to Business

Established vets and new vets are welcome to join!  Compensation is competitive and will be dependent on experience (ranging from $140,000 up to $240,000).  Benefits will include: paid parental leave, moving expenses, paid time off, 401K matching, paid licenses and membership (AVMA, PLIT, VIN, DEA, USDA), CE allowance, pet discounts, and a monthly health insurance stipend.  And as mentioned above, your schedule will be three days plus a couple of Saturdays every month.
