Many Veterinary Hospital is a busy two doctor mixed practice (90% small animal) serving the rural Sabine and surrounding parishes in Louisiana.  We are seeking a third full time associate.

Companion animal practice consist of internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery and wellness care.  Large animal practice is mostly haul-in companion horses and livestock of cattle and small ruminants, with ambulatory services available as needed. We have a covered cattle working area and an indoor equine treatment room. 

We have a complete Abaxis in-house laboratory, digital radiography equipment, ultrasound, two isoflurane gas anesthesia machines each equipped with pulse ox and EKG monitoring devices, and are completely computerized. 

Our support staff consist of 6 Veterinary Technicians, two receptionist, one office manager/ receptionist, and three groomers.  

Recreational opportunities in the area include the Cypress Bend golf course, fishing, and boating activities on Toledo Bend Reservoir, several state parks, and Kisatchie national forest for the outdoor enthusiasts.  The historic city of Natchitoches is about 30 minutes away. Shreveport, Alexandria and Lufkin are about one hour away.

New graduates as well as experienced veterinarians  are welcome.  We offer a competitive salary and benefit package and are approved to meet preceptorship requirements for new graduates for Louisiana licensure

Veterinary degree.  Louisiana license.  New graduates can finish their preceptor requirements at Many Veterinary Hospital as we are approved by the Louisana Veterinary Board for preceptorships.
