Brown Veterinary Hospital, an AAHA certified hospital since 1955, is seeking a full or part time 
Associate Veterinarian to join our practice. Experience is a plus but new graduates welcome to 
apply. Our goal is to find a compassionate veterinarian who shares our vision and philosophy 
and wants to form a strong and long-term relationship with our amazing hospital staff and 
clients. We are located in the southern end of Colorado Springs near the Broadmoor Hotel and at 
the base of Cheyenne Mountain which provides an abundance of outdoor activities right outside 
of work. We currently offer both orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, digital dental and digital 
radiographs, ultrasound and dentals to name a few. We offer both in-house and outside 
laboratory services for the care of our patients. Overall wellness is provided through 
acupuncture, laser therapy along with other therapeutic advances. Our 4-doctor practice is 
currently staffed with amazing and talented CVT’s, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, 
and receptionists whose primary goal is to provide the best care possible for our patients. We 
also have a relationship with a board-certified surgeon who provides additional in-house care for 
our clients. We foster a positive working environment and a team -oriented approach to 
veterinary medicine between our doctors and staff in order to provide the best for our clients and 
their pets. 
Our practice prides itself on a healthy life/work balance. Our work schedule consists of a 4-day 
work week from 8am-5:30 pm with a 1 ½ hour lunch and rotating weekends between the doctors. 
Average work week is approximately 40 hours per week. Great benefits package includes 
medical insurance, dental and vision insurance, a generous CE allowance with paid vacation and 
sick time. AVMA/Professional Liability, DEA and all associated licensing and membership fees 
are paid for by us as part of our package. We pay salary/production with a starting rate based 
upon experience along with a signing bonus. Future opportunity to become a partner/owner is a 
possibility. Current Colorado State Board of Veterinary Medicine license, Basic 
computer/typing skills required as we utilize electronic medical records through AVImark 
Practice Management Software. Excellent communication skills and ability to easily form 
patient- bond are also a must. Strong surgical skills and experience with exotics are all a major 
plus but not necessary.
