When Wickenburg Veterinary Clinic was established in 1986, Dr. John Oplinger had a mission to do everything humanly possible to care for and treat all the animals in his care. Thirty-five years later and we are looking to hire a veterinarian (or two!) with the same level of dedication to animals.

The Role:

Wickenburg Veterinary Clinic is a beautiful, modern practice with ample opportunities to hone your skills or develop new ones. We’re looking for a DVM who will take over the practice and make it theirs. Do you want to work with exotics or a mixed practice? You could make that happen here. Do you want to work alongside your favorite veterinarian? Bring them along, we’ll hire both of you. Practice your medicine your way, while knowing that all the administrative and human resource details are handled for you.

The Ideal Candidate(s):

We’re looking to hire one DVM or a pair of veterinarians.

• Experience executing high standards of care, while supporting the goodwill extended to the local community
• Holds a true passion for fostering the well-being of pets and their families
• Must be a licensed DVM (or have the ability to become licensed) in Arizona

The Practice:

Our highly skilled hospital team has impressive longevity in a beautiful and spacious facility with 2 exam rooms (space for a third) and a clean, welcoming environment. We are a full-service hospital that primarily cares for dogs and cats. We operate Monday through Friday, giving you plenty of time for life outside of work. At Wickenburg Vet Clinic, we promote a strong sense of teamwork and work hard to ensure our hospital is a positive space for people who love what they do.
