Pleasure Island Animal Hospital is a 2.5 doctor practice looking to add a Full-Time or Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to our team. Established in 2011, we are a family run locally owned full-service pet hospital treating dogs and cats. We are constantly growing. Patient care is our primary goal and we believe each pet deserves individualized quality care. We have at least 1 assistant per doctor and 3 receptionists. Receptionists know how to schedule appropriately and ask for doctor approval prior to scheduling same day appointments. We have access to travelling ultra-sonographer and integrative medicine doctor as well as a local 24 hour emergency facility.

Live at the beach and work 28 hours a week or less!

Open 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday – Friday Only. No weekends! No on call or emergency!

Leave on time 99.9% of the time and 1 hour lunch break 12:30-1:30 PM

Practice includes 3 exam rooms (lift table for larger dogs), digital record keeping and invoicing, dental machine, digital radiography, electrocautery for surgery, and a Companion therapeutic laser.

Competitive salary based on experience Full –Time $80,000-90,000 per year. Relief/ Part-time pay is negotiable.
