VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

As a 24/7 animal hospital, we provide emergency vet care as well as routine and preventative veterinary treatments, boarding, and doggie day care. We provide the full spectrum of helpful services that your pet needs!

In this role, you will have a variety of responsibilities both inside the clinic and out, including one-on-one appointments with pets, companion animals, and their families, and conducting research and development.

Responsibilities:

• Assesses animal’s needs by conducting examinations, taking vitals, and interviews owners
• Competes diagnostic procedures
• Administers medications, bandages, drugs, and vaccines
• Performs physical, and inhalation therapies
• Complete local/regional anesthesia
• Assist during operations
• Feed and care for animals staying in clinic

Qualifications:

• Love of animals!
• AVMA Certification
• Licensing per clinic state requirements
• Externship experience preferred
• Knowledge of animal behavior and husbandry
• Clinic skills
• Compassion and empathy for both animals and their owners
