Conley and Koontz Equine Hospital, the only private, full service, equine hospital in Indiana; is seeking a fifth veterinary team member. CKE boasts a board-certified surgeon and board-certified internist on staff. We have a full surgical suite, neonatal unit, digital radiography, abdominal ultrasound, distal limb ultrasound, reproduction ultrasound, Lameness Locator, in-house laboratory, mechanical dentistry, focused shockwave, cryotherapy, endoscopy, SAA readers, lactate readers, Pro-Stride, stem cell, platelet rich plasma, chiropractic medicine, paperless practice management software, an aggressive fee schedule, the opportunity to train interns, and much more.
Veterinarians work with technicians in hospital and on ambulatory calls for safety and efficiency. Shared emergency duty, veterinarians get the day after emergency duty off and the following 3- day weekend. This creates a four-day work week with one 3-day weekend per month. Compensation package includes: base salary, bonus based on production, AVMA and AAEP dues, liability insurance, stock options, practice vehicle, paid vacation, housing and paid continuing education.
