Colonial Manor Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our team.

As a family-owned and operated hospital, we have been a part of the Homer Glen community since 1967. We are a full-service facility providing care for canines, felines, and exotics including birds, reptiles, rabbits, potbelly pigs, and chickens. As an AAHA and Cat-Friendly Practice we are proud to provide quality medicine with the highest standard of care. Our Veterinarians are encouraged to work up and treat the majority of medical and surgical cases presented. We provide routine, major soft tissue, and orthopedic surgery including TPLO, complete dental care, endoscopy, ultrasound, regenerative medicine, laser surgery, etc. The successful candidate must have a sense of humor, be flexible, and have thoughtful communication skills. I am looking for someone who enjoys working with people who share the collective mission of delivering excellent client services and patient care. 

An interest in orthopedic surgery is a plus. Interest in pursuing additional training is encouraged and supported.

Qualifications:

• DVM/VMD degree
• Licensure in good standing in Illinois
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients in a professional, pleasant, respectful manner always
• Be a team player
• Strong interpersonal skills
